It was bound to happen. You can only take your kids to the child center at LifeTime so many times before they comes down with something evil like Hand, Foot and Mouth. This is such a sad illness! Dezi didn't get sores all over like Cai, but he did have quite the fever accompanied by lethargic disposition. Poor Cai got it on his hands, feet, and of course, his mouth. Ever since he got what we think was Hand, Foot and Mouth in San Diego years ago, he tends to get lots of sores in his mouth whenever his body is fighting off a virus. He almost always has sores in his mouth, but this was way worse. Poor kids! Dezi missed several days of school right before going off track because we did not want to give anyone such an awful virus for their vacation.
