Dino Museum and Jonas' Bday

In honor of Jonas' bday, Raechel and I took the kids to Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point. My boys didn't love it as much as they usually do. Guess they are changing and growing up. They used to be able to spend an hour playing at the water/sand/erosion exhibit, but this time, Dezi didn't want to "get messy". He did, on the other hand, want to spend an hour on the computer though and they all loved digging for fossils. I loved that they had benches in every room and spent as much time sitting as possible :)

Afterwards, we met the men and another family at the Firmont Park for some cupcakes and presents. My kids stuffed their faces and had fun running around playing.

The tragedy of the day was that I forgot to give Cai his morning dose of Zyrtec. After playing in the grass at the park, his eyes were soooo swollen! It has to be like a daily vitamin, given at breakfast, but the routine is harder to establish than you would think. It doesn't help that my kids want to run out the door the moment they wake up!
