Since it just happen to be my birthday AND Cai's first day of school, we had a special brunch date before his exciting day. We shared a meal and got our free slice of pie a Village Inn while enjoying some good conversation. When we got home, we hopped on our bikes and off we rode to the school where he saw MANY friends from the neighborhood and church. I think he already knows about half the class! He was so excited to be in Mrs. Thayer's class since he knows her and the classroom so well from accompanying me for weekly volunteering when Dezi was in her class. He could hardly wait to walk in the school to get his day started! So happy and proud :)
