São Paulo Zoo with Tio Nelson

Today, Tio and Tia took us to the São Paulo Zoo. Our favorite part was all the monkeys. In particular, there was a mother monkey walking around with a baby on her back that was so cute! Tio and Tia were amazed at the boundless energy of the boys as they ran up and down the trails. In the end, Cai could barely finish the trip because he'd used up all his energy running back and forth all over the place.

We barely made it home before the "rodizio" time, a program that has been put in place to minimize the number of cars on the street. Every Tuesday, tio cannot use his car during commuting hours. It's amazing how much traffic there is on the streets even with this program in place, but not surprising considering that about 20 million people live in the entire metropolitan area.
