Ibirapuera Park with Tio Nelson (paparazzi style)

Tio Nelson came and picked us up on Sunday night. By the time we got home and got the kids settled, it was another late night.

Once we rolled out of bed on Monday, Tio Nelson and Tia Beatriz took us to Parque Ibirapuera, the Central Park of São Paulo. Right when we got there, the boys fell in love with a banyan-type tree that reminded them of Avatar: The Last Air Bender, one of their favorite shows. Aside from climbing trees, they also had a great time collecting fallen flowers, leaves, and sticks, observing bugs, feeding the ducks and geese, and exploring the shores of the lake.

I had fun playing a paparazza when we saw the filming of a popular novela with Fernanda Montenegro, one of Brasil's most renowned actresses.
