Dezi's newest aspiration...to play pro soccer

We discovered that coaching for Dezi's soccer team comes with a pretty awesome perk. We got 4 tickets to go see Real Salt Lake play the LA Galaxy. I went early in the day to redeem our vouchers and the nice ticket agent gave us front row seats! This little outing would have cost us $240! Thank you Salt Lake County Soccer! After booting some people out of our seats (never a fun thing to do), we settled in for an amazing night. The boys were super excited to be right there against the wall. They could see everything and Dezi was impressed by the players' skills. He now wants to be a soccer player when he grows up. Too cute. The best part was seeing the corner kick that led to the first goal of the night right in front of our faces. I'm not sure which was more exciting for the boys to see, the goal, or the ensuing celebration. We had planned on only staying til half time (school night!), but the seats were too good to leave and we only left a few minutes early to beat the exodus to the shuttle. All in all, one of the best family nights of 2009!
