Unlike a lot of kids, Dezi gets to start the school year with familiar faces. Since he is in ALPS, a magnet program for advanced learners, he stays with the same group of kids each year. Of course, the teachers are different, but he loves the new classroom and is excited about the team teachers. We got to tour the classroom right before school started. With only a 3 week 'summer', it hardly seems like a new school year!
