Cub Scout Pine Wood Derby

The month ended on a high note with the Cub Scout Pine Wood Derby. I got released of my duties as Webelos leader (after a few months of pulling double duty as a Sunday School teacher as well!), but I went to support Ryan, who is still Cub Master, and because my boys now LOVE cub scouts. I also went as 'photographer' of the event. My new lens is so heavy on my camera that my wrist hurt after hours of photographing. Dezi took the car I made when I was a Young Women's leader in Tucson and Cai took Doc (from the Cars movie). After an exciting night of watching the races (and their animated Dad on stage), they finally got to race their cars. They even enjoyed sweeping up afterwards! It was a great night.
