MtP's 4th of July parade

Nothing like building a little tradition on the 4th of July. The boys loved the big family gathering a couple of years ago and were excited at the prospect of another parade in Mt Pleasant. Since the Lubbers' home is currently rented out, we just drove down the morning of the parade. We got there just in time to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa so they could guide us to the beginning of the bike parade. Ryan stayed on foot thinking he could keep up with the boys and the rest of us went to watch from the shade of their tree, which was reserved for us despite the renters.

The boys ended up doing the bike parade on their own so they could keep up with the pack and Ryan straggled behind. The only problem was they passed us by and kept going and Grandma had to jump in the car to go catch them before they got totally lost.

Once the family was all together again, we had a great time watching the parade and watching the kids have fun. Good times with Grandma and Grandpa in the ol' MtP.

Afterwards, we all headed to Provo for a little Cars 2 in 3D. We were happy to have spent such a fun day with family before moving on to our other 4th of July activities.
