A few days ago, we all made "bets" on which day Dezi's tooth would fall out. Of course, he already "lost" one tooth, but since the dentist helped with that one, this one gets to count all over again. He's been enjoying wiggling it for ages! It could have come out yesterday (my day), but he was trying to make it til Saturday (no ones's day). Friday morning, I could see it was so loose that if he sneezed wrong, it would come out. Lo and behold, he was playing around with Cai when it came out. He almost swallowed it! He was so excited. Of course, since the tooth fairy let him keep his first tooth (he wrote her a special request), he was hoping for the same thing this time around. We were happy he wasn't too disappointed when the tooth fairy let him know that if he wanted prizes, she needed to keep the tooth for her collection. Thank goodness she'll be keeping all future teeth!
