After Christmas Fun in SG

After Christmas, and after the snow let up a little in SLC, we finally headed down to St George for some more celebrations. Dezi and Cai were very excited to see both sets of grandparents and all the cousins. We spent our week in St George hopping back and forth between Laura's (where Vô and Vó are since the Pine Valley house has some frozen pipe issues), Daniela's and the Lubbers'. It was a great, but busy, time. The boys loved all their presents and we had fun giving the family all their special presents, but the best part was just spending time together. Dezi loves playing with Daniela's boys and Cai loves her little chihuahua (a little too much, for their sake). We all missed Ella, the Lubbers' wonderful Lab that passed this year, but Laura's Lab, Gus, provided some fun (especially on the trampoline!). Dezi was also super happy to spend time with Travis, his cousin and old best bud from Tucson. He even slept over at Grandma and Grandpa's with the whole crew while we slept at Laura's. Between all the houses, the boys definitely watched enough animated movies to fill the TV quota for the whole month of January! Ryan worked from his parents home most of the days, but took of a couple days off for New Year's. We even got a chance to go to the temple, which was fantastic. Another great thing about the trip was that Laura and I were able to go to the spa and finally use our gift certificates from our birthdays. It was nice to be pampered, even if it was only for a brief moment! All in all, a great time with all the family there, just too quick. We miss them already!
