Dezi sports his new scab just in time to thwart family photos yet again. He was running on the black top at school and fell right on his face. The worst part is that I was in a meeting in the SAME building and didn't answer the phone when the school called me because I didn't recognize the number. Luckily they called our neighbor Katie Bond (she was on my emergency list) and she texted me. I felt horrible that he had to sit in the nurse's office for 20 minutes while I was 30 seconds away. The nurse said he was super brave. Poor kid.
