For Family Home Evening Christmas week, we decided to meet Ryan downtown to see the lights at Temple Square.
Before heading out, the kids and I delivered most of our Christmas treats to new neighbors and old friends. They had fun switching off who got to hand over the goodies. Dezi took the role of explaining about the special Brazilian treats and we put smiles on friends' faces with a very amateur "We Wish You a Merry Christmas!"
Once we got downtown, we started at the Museum of Church History and Art so I could drop off an invoice at the gift shop for my BEE SQUARE products they'd purchased. While there, we bumped into Father Christmas, who was quite the interesting character.
Then we met Ryan at the Nativity on Temple Square. It's so beautiful! We stood in the cold listening to the story before heading inside to fill Cai's request of seeing the Christus. We looked at a few other displays before heading back out to walk around to see the lights before heading home. All in all, a pretty good night.
