Grandma & Grandpa come for a Logan Wedding

So, I think I finally figured it out. Ryan's great grandmother was the bride's great-great grandmother. Though we'd never met them before, we attended the festivities to honor Analise and Trevor's special day in the Logan temple. Dezi loves the idea of weddings and was anticipating the moment he would get to see the bride. He thought she was beautiful in her fancy dress. Since he was too shy to say it, he instructed me to tell her, "My son wants me to tell you that he thinks you look beautiful." How sweet is that? The only disappointment he had was that he didn't get to see her dance with the groom. Getting married and dancing are inseparably linked in his mind (aside from pictures of Ryan and I dancing at our wedding, think of any cartoon or movie where there is a wedding...the bride and groom always dance).

The boys enjoyed the visit from Grandma and Grandpa. Earl came early to share information he's been preparing for me to make into a family history book. We spent a lot of time recording stories and going through papers, but we also found time to take the boys to get hair cuts before the wedding. I finally took them to Cookie Cutters, a salon that is totally for kids. They sat in cars to get their hair cuts and they watched movies. Well worth the money for Cai, who won't sit still and is generally petrified of having his hair cut. Earl also fulfilled the boys dream of going to Chuck E Cheese. They had a great time playing all the games and eating pizza with Grandpa.
